This site was spammed between 11/28 and 12/04
Somehow, without my password, someone was able to find a hole in the scripting of my website. In the admin portion, that person changed the role of a new registered reader from subscriber to author so people could post their own ads. There were over 20 pages of illegal authors and more than 4,600 pages of illegal postings (nearly 92,000 posts). These people literally swarmed my site.
One day in the House of Representatives, a bill was taken up appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer. Several beautiful speeches had been made in its support. The Speaker was just about to put the question when Crockett arose:
We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money.
